On your credit report

Get a free copy of your actual credit report once a year at AnnualCreditReport .com  You can get copies of all 3 reports, but I suggest that you only get one at a time so you can go back in 4 months and get one of the others to track progress.

With your report in hand you will have everything you need to dispute any info on your report.  ALWAYS do this in writing. if you do online disputes you lose the ability to continue the dispute if their findings are not what you want. You will also lose the right to sue.

Good luck
