When is the best time to pay credit card balance? Is it before of after the statement?
I would like to build up a credit score, and I can't seem to understand what it the best time to pay my credit card to have the best credit score...

Wait until statement arrives.

Then pay only what the statement says is the Total Amount due.  That is the total of purchases you made prior to the closing date of the account, and not actually what you may have spent to date.  If you pay only the total due, you will not incur any interest expense and this will reflect a good payment record, too.

But WHEN do you pay. Should you pay the balance on the due date, because I've heard that paying the balance the day before the due date was the best option.
