Generally ten years after filing.

Depends:

* Chapter 7 stays on for 10 years from the filing date (as long as it hasn't been dismissed.)

* Chapter 13 stays on for 7 years from the filing date, as long as it was successfully discharged. It leaves earlier because you partially paid back the debts in a Ch 13.
