Hard Inquiries DO NOT affect the age of credit. It is only when a new account hits your reports or when one falls off that will change the age of accounts.

this does not apply to new service to cable, new cell phones, and new internet services in my understanding, yes they are hard hits i understand this, and they stay on your credit history for 2 years but stop hurting it after 1 yr but as i know it they do not take your 10 yr CREDIT HISTORY down to say 6 because they average your many credits over your credit history and divide them to find the average of your CREDIT AGE, but i understand the only time that your AGE OF YOUR CREDIT or CREDIT AGE only goes down when you get a credit card and home loan or something big, NOT ON SIMPLE things like CEll phones cable and or internet hard hits(((((((is this right and if so, than why did not my Age of my credit HISTORY go down the last 6months i got a new cell phone hard hit and New internet and new Cable
