when a public record is listed as filed, should it be changed to satisfied or paid?
the account has been paid but the one bureau still shows it as filed-would it make a score difference to have it updated to paid?

Go to the Credit Bureaus website.

If any info in not up to date, You can file a dispute on their website.  Its simple, free and easy to do. 

On the main page of all 3 CRA's there will be a button marked "File a Dispute"  click on the link and follow the steps.Its a simple question and anser format.   That should get the info updated and acurate.
