When a Collection Account has been closed since 2007, then says placed for collection?
The account has been closed and now says placed for collection? Does this mean they are coming after me again.

Possibly. Since you asked your question in the "student loans" section, I am assuming that you are addressing a student loan. Private student loans fall off of your reports in seven years if left unpaid, but unfortunately, Federal student loans do not fall off if left unpaid. You are going to have to buckle down and do some serious reading on this subject and figure out if you need to get this paid (if federal) and then figure out a way to get it paid.
