I advise checking with the Financial Aid office at the school you are planning to attend.  And, honestly, I recommend a technical education in a needed skill as opposed to a college degree.  There are many needed jobs out there that pay very well, and do not require a degree.  From experience there are more people with degrees than there are jobs needing them.
