What will increase my credit score fastest: Paying off debt in collections or filing bankruptcy>
Trying to get my credit back on track after a rough few years. Is is better to just file bk and start over? Or can I get my credit score back up in a short time after paying off debt in collection? thank you

If you file bankruptcy, your credit takes a nosedive and remains low for ten years.  Anyone who says bankruptcy will help your credit is lying.

And there is no rapid increase in score after paying a collection because unless you negotiate a pay for delete agreement, the collection will remain on your credit reports as part of your credit history for 7 more years.  Please re-read the articles here to clarify your credit knowledge.
