Car Loan score

Helpful to 3 out of 4 people

As formally being in management at two of the big three domestic brands I can tell you I have seen scores all over the place get approved for vehicle loans. You may want to try to join a credit union and see what they can do to help you. Cap One also seems to be pushing a lot of vehicle loans right now. If you are not selective on what type of vehicle you want, some dealerships will work with various lenders to find a match for your credit and the vehicle they can offer. I know sitting down with a salesman can be a hassle, but sometimes it is the best way to go to get in a new ride. Dealerships also "floor plan" cars and need to move them usually within 30-60 of having them on the lot, so sometimes this can also work in your favor. Floor planning is how dealership purchase vehicles on credit without financing them, so be assured they want them gone! Also please be very careful with buy here pay here types of offers. Some are so harsh if you are late with one payment by one day they shut down the vehicle elctronically, repo it, and you are left with no equity whatsoever. If you have any other question, please feel free to contact me and I will help in any way I can. I have over twenty years experience in all faces of automotive knowledge.
