credit scores

Generally speaking, most lenders are looking for a 620 to a 640 for a typical FHA loan and a 680 for conventional while Jumbo loans typical require a 720-740 or better.  This information changes from lender to lender.

Don't be fooled by a lender that is promoting a 580 loan as extremely typically these type of loans have requirements that would be extremely difficult (at best) to meet and should you be able to meet them, would give you a better credit score than the 580 to begin with.   IE.  we take a credit score of 580 but require no late payments or collections in the last 12 months.

If you need assistance in increasing your scores, I'd be happy to provide information on that as well.
