What is the statue of reporting to credit bureaus in pa.
Have a hsbc account last payment made in 2008 that will be reported on my report till 2012. how is this possible

Credit reporting time period for most negative accounts is seven years. If you made your last payment in 2008, then the account should be at seven years or close to it now. Contact the credit bureaus and ask them to remove the account from your reports. Do some reading about "early exclusion". Also understand that the Statute of Limitations is different from credit reporting time periods. The SOL has to do with how long you can be sued for a debt.
