Once you place the freeze at the bureau, Credit Karma will not be able to pull your account to provide you with the information.    The freeze stops everyone from viewing your credit in order to protect you.  It is possible that after you "unfreeze" the account that Credit Karma may not be able to pull, you may have to register for a new account on Credit Karma and if it won't let you use the same email address you'll have to submit a help ticket with them.   You may have to provide documented proof of your identify.   The only persons who have access to your bureau report after a freeze are firms which you already have accounts.  You cannot lock current creditors out nor can you stop negative information from being filed.  The freeze is for pulls, both hard and soft.
