It depends!

It depends on how long since you filed your bankruptcy and how you are dealing with your loans at the moment, based on your credit report and credit score. If you answer BOTH "quite long", say 3-5 years, for the first part, AND, always paying on time since then for the second part, you have a high chance to get a good card. To be on the safe side, I would always recommend a secured a card in the bank that has the gas card you want. If you get approved for the secured a card and pay on time in full in about 6 months to a year, you can ask for an upgrade to the gas card you want. Hope this helps.
