Check all credit reports.

A recent news article pointed out that errors are very common on credit reports, so we have to keep check and work on getting them fixed.  Go to annualcreditreport.com and get all 3 credit reports.  Go over them very thoroughly and file a dispute on each and every known error or questionable entry with the credit bureau reporting same.  They are supposed to investigate and either verify or delete the disputed item.

Make it a practice to check your credit reports every year to make sure that only YOUR information, bad or good, is on there.
