Went to buy car / Dealer's credit 80 points lower than CK?
Went to the dealer with a 656 credit score thinking no problem getting an new economy Honda. Dealer pulled my credit and it was almost 60 points lower than Credit Karma on the same day? Not sure why it is so different especially when they told me they were using TransUnion as well?

To the Original Poster,

I would suggest paying for TransUnion to show you your credit score. It is true that CK's credit score may not be fully accurate, but a 60 or 80 point swing is a significant bracket difference and I would want to see how truthful that dealership is being. Did the dealership show you your report from TransUnion, or just tell you that?

Credit Karma is not a credit bureau but an educational site to teach people how credit works and how to build good credit.  The credit score here is an approximation of what your real score is.  It works as a guideline only. Please make sure to read the articles on this site so you can make whatever changes are needed to build a better score that will make future purchasing easier.  I did and love the results (though there are a couple of bad marks that will just have to fall off in time.  No biggie.

Hi, you're posting the same thing on every question (including mine) which is adding no value to the OP.
