want to close 0 bal.credit cards. what will that do to my score
I have 114,000.00 available credit on credit cards. Right now I owe 3,000.00 on them. A couple cards are from the 90's

Age of credit is a factor.  By closing old cards you could possibly reduct the overall age of your credit which could lower your score.  I would look at the and see what the impact would be.

Closing the cards also reduces the amount of available credit and that will affect your usage ratio.  That you have these cards is good.  Betting the amount owed paid off would be great and keeping your usage below 20% so you are able to pay the bills in full when they come in would be AWESOME!!
