Want to buy a house and clean up my credit...It's complicated...
Please review my scenario and offer any advice: In 2007 I was in a death defying car accident, 2009 husband died, 2011 lost his business and his home was foreclosed. I am awaiting approval for SSDI (almost 2 years now). I need insight on how to deal with the debts I have not been able to pay since I have no income. I sold everything I could to keep my car and pay for prescriptions. gasoline, and car insurance. I have been on food stamps also. I have 20K in loans and 8 items in collections (mostly hospital bills).
