Probably not going to happen, unless you enjoy being overcharged on interest rates, as some lenders will do it in exchange for getting a higher interest payment from you - we're talking up to a couple of hundred bucks a month worth of extra interest. VA approved lenders usually require at least 620 (average) for traditionally-built homes and 640 for pre-manufactured homes. Best bet would be to work on raising your credit rating (lots of advice on teh site for doing that), waiting awhile, then once your median is over 640, go talk to lenders. You'll thank yourself later in the form of lower monthly payments and/or greater buying power.
