Used credit card and paid it off. rating dropped 5 pts. WTH
I have a Chase credit card with $3900.00 limit. Made a $795.00 purchase and paid it off right away. No issues doing this many times in the past. This time my rating dropped 5 points. WTH is up with that?

1. It's impossible to verify that the causality that you seem to assume is correct.  Your score could have changed due to any number of other factors.

2. Stop fretting over 5 points.

3. Stop fretting over 5 points on a FAKO score.

only in America. Pay debt off, rating goes down, charge things up so youcan't see the sky, rating goes up. Its a very **** poor rating system. It never takes in account your liquid assests. The best way, tell them all to go to hell, pay cash and stuff their rating system.
