Updating Credit Karma actually creates a hard inquiry on my credit report?
In looking at my report, I'm showing one hard inquiry per month... coincidentally (?) the same date when I update my Credit Karma report. What gives?

How can I control Hard Inquiries on my credit report when updating Credit Karma actually creates a hard inquiry?

Sorry for the confusion, Jpetillo. Credit Karma does not add hard inquiries to your credit report. We utilize a "soft inquiry" to retrieve your score on your behalf. Soft inquiries do not affect your credit score. Keep in mind that hard inquiries stay on your report for 2 years - it sounds like you're looking at the same inquiry each update.
