update credit rating failed
My credit score was last updated on July 31st. When I click on Update Now, it fails with error message

"Sorry, but we are unable to retrieve a credit score for your account at this time. An error occurred while we were retrieving your score.

It could be that our connection to the credit bureau is down for maintenance, or that there was a problem retrieving your specific record, such as an alert or hold on your credit file that prevents us from processing it."

Any reason why this is happening?

Have you filed a "Fraud Alert"?

If it wasn't a technical glitch then chances are that there is something on your account saying that there has been "Unusual activity" on your account,

Contact a Credit Reporting Agency and see if you can find out whats going on.  You can try by phone (might be faster)  but by mail would be better.  (All contact with CRA's should be followed up in writing)  Sometimes getting your Free Annual Report will be good enough to find out whats going on.

Get names of who you talk to as well as times and dates,  put that info in to your letter.

Good luck!
