Secured cards might do soft inquiries

Helpful to 2 out of 2 people

If you need another card to improve your credit score, but don’t want a hard inquiry on your credit, you can try the Capital One Secured card (or many other secured cards, that’s just the first that popped in my head first)

Most secured cards with only preform a soft inquiry that doesn’t show up in your credit report or affect your credit score.  Just make sure you read the details of the application and make sure it says it will not affect your credit score before you apply.
