The 7 year wait for bad credit wipe out
I have 7 negative accounts that are no longer in collections and total up to $18,000.00 dollars. A credit advisor told me that after 7 years negative items on your credit reports get wiped out. In my transunion report it states that these accounts will close off by themselves in another 2 years. If I tried paying them off before the 2 year period, would it make a significant change to my credit score? Would it be worth paying them off or waiting the 2 year period?
