Tax return as a proof of income: married filed jointly
I wonder what happens when a tax return is presented as a proof of income with a car loan application - married filed jointly? Do they look at the total or separate the numbers?
We both work, one of us is self-employed. I am looking for a car loan for myself, don't want to involve my spouse a a co-signer.
