Student Loan during Chapter 13?
I've been in chapter 13 bankruptcy since February 2009, it got dismissed in early 2012 so I had to refile again, leaving me in bankruptcy now for almost 6years. I haven't paid on my student loan since I filed bankruptcy and it doesn't show any missed payments. My loan amount was $20,000 when I filed, but now due to 6 years of accumulated interested charges, my loan is now at $32,200. Is this allowed??? Can they really keep charging me interest this whole time? Its even noted in my credit record for my student loan that I filed bk and that I am to continue payment once finished.
