Stature of limitation
I have a CC debt that is 15 yrs old maybe more, is there a statue of limitations on this?

Yes and in most states it would have expired by now if the card was closed 15 years ago. Look up the "statute of limitations" in your state to be sued for credit card debt. Understand that the "statute of limitations" only applies to the time that they can win in court. They could take you to court, you would need to go to court to use the sol for your defense and you would win. They can continue to come after you for the money, but that is where you would write them or the debt collector that is after you a "cease & desist letter" so do some reading on that. Also read about the FDCPA (fair debt collection practices act) if you have debt collectors harassing you.
