Should not be in collection
This is for a Mercy medical center that our town is built around. I am unable to find out who this money was owed too. It has to of been paid as we have not received a bill in a few years and no one in their billing can find that there billing me for that amount. I have paid them several bills just this year. They just say no we don't show you owe us anything so were not billing you and we don't have records of collection being turned over. Help. Please Sally

If you have collections for medical bills from this provider then they DID turn it over to collections. The rep that you spoke with does not know what is going on, call the provider back and find a rep or supervisor that can assist you. You could also dispute the account and you may get lucky if the collection company doesn't have any info on it either.
