Should I use some of my IRA money to pay off credit cards
I am not behind in payments to credit cards and I am in good standing with them.

If you have not reached retirement age, you would end up paying fines and losing out on the accrued interest that comes with an IRA, so doing so would not be smart.  Instead, increase the amount you pay and strive to pay in full every month.  That saves on the interest charged o[n the unpaid balance (which is like throwing money away) and doing that IS smart..
