should I pay off old medical bills in collections to raise my score
I also have credit cards in collections. trying to raise score

I suggestions is to contact the medical bills collection and ask them to remove all records from the bureaus upon paid in full. Most medical bills, they will delete it. Also for all collections, if it's close to 7 years, I would leave it or call the 3 bureaus to ask them to delete it. Unless you really need the score improve right away to buy a home, etc.
