NO!! NO!! NO!!

You'll kill your credit score for the next 10 years.  And it won't help unless you possibly have significant assets you might lose without going that route. You might contact a bankruptcy attorney and pay attention to their initial consultation, which is usually free.  If your debts are "unsecured" such as credit cards, or medical bills, forget bankruptcy and that is the majority of debt in this country. 

Look up Dave Ramsey and follow his ideas on getting rid of debt without filing bankruptcy.  Basnkruptcy is the worst choice to make.
