Should I close newest accounts to improve Avg Age of credit history?
I have 26 active (current) accounts
8 of them are 9+years old
4 are 6+ years old and the other
14 are under 6 years
Should I close the newer accounts with lowest credit limits to improve avg age of credit history? I don't need a majority of the newer accounts. But will improving my avg age of credit history prove to out weigh the damage done by closing accounts?

closing them is not going to change your average age of accounts as they will still be factored in as they will remain on your reports.
