Should I apply for a new CC or ask for an increased limit on my current?
We currently have a credit limit of $7900 on our primary credit card and pay it off in full each month (usually hit about 25% of limit in monthly expenses). We have recently looked at opening a new CC, for some rewards as well as wanting to increase our credit line allowance while keeping the usage lower, but have also thought about requesting a credit limit increase on our current line. What would you recommend?

If you are looking for a good rewards card, find one that fits your needs and spendng habits.  I would do both.  Find another card and ask for a CLI on the cards you have now.
