You still have a home insurance score regardless if you have a house or not. If you were to get home insurance, they would look at that score, your FICO score and your overall credit profile.

It's just a score.

It's there so they will know what rates to charge you if you do ever buy a house or get Renters insurance, then the number would be applicable. If you don't then It's just a number.
