public tax lien
property was sold and the title company paid the federal tax lien off. the IRS refuses to remove or even show the adjusted balance. we could not sell our property without paying this tax lien first. 3 years later, amended a tax return and we had a refund coming, instead we receive a bill for the same federal tax lien the title company paid off and now they took our refund and show us owing 1800.00.
