Personal Loan or 0% Credit Card to Thicken Credit Report?
I am looking to get a new car in November or December (Toyotathon). I only have three active accounts reporting, two credit cards and my mortgage. My current credit utilization is 50%, but can be paid off by the end of the year. Would it look better to F&I to a) do nothing, b)take out a personal loan to show an installment account, or c)get a balance transfer card? My CK scores are 758 and my Experian FICO is 765. No lates or negatives other than utilization. Thanks!
