Personal Loan for Non Residents in USA
Hi - I live in the USA on H1B work visa and green card application is in progress. I tried to apply for Personal Line of Credit with my bank and was told, I need the physical documentation of my Green card to take it even though the application is approved based on a very good credit score. I am not sure if it was a policy of that bank or a federal law that prevents it. Is there any financial institutions that give personal loan/line of credit for people in this situation?
