paying off cash advance early
Is it better for my credit score to pay off a large cash advance early or put the money in savings until it is due a year from now?

You might want to double check on the  "it isn't due for a year" for cash advances.

Since the interest rate on savings accounts is below 3% and it's likely the interest you are paying on the cash advance is higher than that, I'll let you figure that out for yourself.
