Depending on reporting cycle, it may take 2 months until the lender reports it to the credit reporting agency.

I am not sure if you know this or not, but you should expect your scores to DECREASE when this is updated. Believe it or not, you usually get penalized for closing loans. On the bright side though, you saved some money and that is the name of the game.
