paydown on simple interest loan
I was jammed with 26.1 percent from santander three months ago, the only way to bet the interest is to pay it down. Now my question I have paid it down by three grand already and I'm going to throw 2 grand a month at it now and take it all the way down to almost paid off status, I want to leave only 100 dollars owed on the principal. I want to keep this open for a long time only paying three dollars a month for the rest of the loan for six years to cost them more in admin fees. Can I do this? I need to keep the account open to raise my score with min cost. Anyone ever done this?
