Past Due Account Name?????
I have an account that is passed due but it is kind of hard to get ahold of the company because on my credit report on this site it does not list the name of the company that the money is owed to. How can I figure out who it is I owe that money to?

Get & check all 3 reports

It's very important every year to get all 3 credit reports (go to annualreport.com) and check them over very thoroughly to be sure they are accurate.  If there are items on the reports that are not yours (and you should know to whom you may owe money) file disputes.  Instructions are usually on the credit reports  or you can look in the left column of this site under Resources, click on articles and scroll through until you find the article on filing a dispute.

It is not uncommon for errors to show up on credit reports so it is our responsibility to get those errors corrected.

FYI- the information used on this site is taken from reports made by Transunion so that may be the first of the three you want to look at.
