Sorry, but just paying it doesn't remove it from your credit report.  It is part of your credit history to be reported for the next 7 years, but the report will show that the lein was paid.

jwsister is correct. You can dispute the item to make sure that the paid lien is now showing "RELEASED", which means paid, but it will still remain on your credit report for 7 years from the date the lien was assessed.
