Paid off debt -- credit score dropped
I took my tax return adn paid off $4000 in credit card debt. Didn't close any accounts so my credit use ratio dropped from 75% to 65%. Credit Karma said my score DROPPED by 63 points. I'm less over extended and I'm a higher credit risk now? How exactly does that work?
