You need to get it off your credit report.  Contact Macy's and tell them it is not your account.  Also contact all three credit bureaus and tell them it is not your account and to remove it.  You can contact the bureaus through their websites (Experian, Equifax and TransUnion), by phone or by regular mail.  After 30-45 days it should come off.  If it doesn't come off the first time, keep at it, you have to be persistent.  Best of luck!
