As johnnyrain said the impact is only for a year so if you are going to see any points it will be after the year.  The second year you will only see it removed from your report.

Not very much, if any at all. The impact of inquries are small to begin with, unless you have large numbers of them like15 or something, and it lessen the impact over time, in FICO8? It only impact to your score in first 12 months.... But less inquiries "looks" better on your report, as some lenders are inquiry sensitive.
