OMG! TransUnion Score Up 170 PTS in 20 days!
After viewing my credit report and purchasing my FICO scores I wasn't too happy to see that my Trans score was 612. I paid down the 3 cards I had to less than 1% and opened 2 more secured cards ( which the mortgage officer suggested in order to raise my scores to obtain a home loan.) Anyways, why was my score so low anyway? Answer- I have no collection but too few CC reporting so I disputed an old account that was reporting incorrectly as open. TransUnion removed it. I didn't believe my credit karma score so this time I searched for an online coupon code for 20% off of FICO scores. I purchased another score report. It was actually 20+points higher than what CK said. Long story short, 613 to 852 in 20 days. If your doubting your scores on here your right, it maybe lower or higher. Before you waste an inquiry just buy your real scores or wait until your fako scores are really high. Yes... I wasted my money buying 2 FICO Scores in 20 days but the joy of seeing a rise of 170 points was worth every penny to me.
