Oldest credit account is permanently suspended.
Hello all, I have a question. In 2001 I got my first Credit Card, Capital One. In 2005 I suffered financial hardships and mismanaged money from college years etc. During that time Capital One permanently suspended my account. The thing is, the account is "open and active" on all 3 credit reports. I had paid it off in 2010. Question is, should I just leave this account "open and active" forever? I have other accounts opened in 2003, 2005, 2010 and 2012. So should I keep it open or close it? Thank you.
