If they are reporting four accounts on your reports regarding the same account then you want to DISPUTE that asap. The three credit bureaus are Transunion, Equifax and Experian and they all have websites where you can dispute incorrect information. The collection company is not allowed to do this. Do some reading on the FDCPA (fair debt collection practices act) and see if they are violating your rights in other ways in addition to this, then consider speaking to a consumer law attorney that handles FDCPA cases.
