Not Identity Theft but Address and Telephone Number Scam
A Brandon Wilson (UNKNOWN TO ME) has my SS# and filed a claim. Fortunately, there were mistakes on his part and claim was denied. I reported this to SS and my supplement as a SCAM. Since it was NOT paid they neglected it. He now uses my address and telephone number as I get mail from collectors, bills from medical providers and NOW I find he is able to use an APP on his cell phone to hijack my phone number. I get calls for him all the time and in checking with a credit card company in Houston, I learned that their caller ID shows that MY telephone number is in the name of BRANDON WILSON. Locally, it is still my caller ID. Police can't help. ANY IDEAS?????
