There are three credit bureaus.  This site has access to Transunion and Equifax, but not to Experian.  Each bureau has different information since few, if any, credit companies or businesses report to all three.  Most report to only one.  And each calculates credit scores differently.  The scores here are calculated using the Vantage 3 matrix.  If you go to FICO.com, that score is calculated differently, too.  There are numerous different ways to calculate scores.

What you see here is just for use here since this site is for teaching about credit.  No one else sees this information, only you.

Of course they are not accurate. I give speaches on credit. 95% of banks and morgage companies and credit card companies all use some form of Fico scores. It shouldn't take a genious to understand why Credit Karma uses their own scoring system. More of the more marginal credit site users use vendors on this site which Credit Karma is paid a fee from these vendors. Which with proper disclosures is perfectly legal. It's just their buiness model but makes Credit Karma next to worthless for  person with excellant credit.
