No response to letters to collection accounts. What next?
I have six collection accounts on my credit reports. Five of them are medical bills from open heart surgery four years ago. I wrote each of the six companies letters offering to settle for a specific amount, and with the assurance the marks would be deleted when payment is received. It has been 3 months now, and none have respoonded. Can I dispute due to their lack of response? Looking for advice on how to proceed, thanks!
